Secured printing, also called "postponed print" or "pull print", is a feature which allows you to actually print out your documents only when you authorise yourself with the SafeQ terminal at the printer. And more, your documents will be available at any compatible printer in the system.
Utilize the same cards as are already in use elsewhere. Just as SafeQ enables customisations, the SafeQ Terminal offers a wide range of supported card readers and connections of entirely new types. A uniform interface for the connection of the reader makes a connection of almost any type possible.
The efficiency of a print operation is defined by the time that users spend with printing. To increase efficiency, SafeQ provides a wide set of features, including repeated prints, favourite jobs, follow-me functionality, batch-job accounting and more. All unnecessary delays due to waiting for the multi-functional device have been eliminated.
Print environment optimisation using a SafeQ product makes it possible to change from expensive local print to more efficient and cost-effective network print. It also enables a better utilisation of reprographic centres in the company.
In total, the print solution is localized, to a full extent, in 14 world languages. SafeQ Terminal print centres and the actual SafeQ web interface are both localized. The administration interface is subjected to localization as well.
Besides the control of access to print and copying, the SafeQ print server enables securing access and the simplification of work with scanned and/or faxed documents. On multi-functional devices, access to scanning is controlled by the SafeQ print terminal.
With regular work on projects, documents are often shared by team members (joint schemes, pictures etc.). There is a budget for each project which must be heeded to with great care. However, print often becomes a weak point due to its complex accounting.
