Fax and Scan Control

How may the server ensure secured access and simplify work with scanned and faxed documents?

Besides the control of access to print and copying, the SafeQ print server enables securing access and the simplification of work with scanned and/or faxed documents. On multi-functional devices, access to scanning is controlled by the SafeQ print terminal.

access for selected users only

Each scanned document is sent to the SafeQ server, where the sender identity is verified and the document further processed. Thanks to card identification at the multi-functional device, the user is guaranteed and the service thus cannot be misused.

Scanned documents can be faxed by entering the email address "phone@fax", which redirects it automatically to the SafeQ fax server. Users are informed in a confirmation email whether or not a fax has been delivered, and each fax is archived. Unsuccessful faxes can also be sent from the workstation using another method - the Print-To-Fax function, which simply prints any document on a "FAX" printer.

The securing function and scan and/or fax accounting functions are interconnected with the print server, which means that all functions within a single print environment may be used. Each faxed and scanned page can be accounted, and then these costs distributed among accounting centers.
