Support of All Office Applications
We use common office tools and an SAP information system. Can we secure and account such prints?
The SafeQ print solution enables receiving print jobs in the same manner as network printers and multi-functional devices do.
SafeQ Supports All Office Applications
| mass installation and settings |
The key points in the support of all office applications are:
- Compatibility of the application with SafeQ on the print language level - each print job is parsed (printed to memory) on the server, so that the colouring and number of pages can be accounted. This data is recorded with each page. To be able to process a task in this way, SafeQ is equipped with an integrated parser for PCL, Postscript and other print languages.
- Print job owner identification - user information is taken on the station from the name of the user logged in the network and/or solicited in a dialogue box. When sending a print job from an information system, such as SAP or AS400, then such standards are used which support this identification.
- Job sending and transfer method - the actual sending of a job through the network is usually done by a TCP/IP layer or RAM - both of these methods are supported by SafeQ.
